Carnival Brasileiro

On February 10, one of the largest Brazilian Carnival celebrations other than Brazil will take place in Austin at Palmer Events Center. Doors open at 8:00 PM with music beginning at 10:00 PM. Zilker Metropolitan Park

There is no doubt that Zilker Park is the most popular in the area. Situated on 351-acres, there is something fun for everyone. Just to name a few, there is a playscape for the kiddos, train rides, jogging trails, and a swimming pool, and much more. Come visit some of the other amazing attractions as well, including Zilker Hillside Theatre, Austin Nature, and Science Center, Zilker Botanical Garden, and Umlauf Sculpture.

Lady Gaga on Dec. 5

The award-winning singer, who has some of the best-selling song releases of all time, will be making a stop in Austin on Dec. 5. She will be performing here while in the midst of her year-long Joanne World Tour, and her fans from around the world will descend upon the University of Texas' Frank Erwin Center that evening to experience the unique experience that is a Lady Gaga concert. Reports from earlier shows on the tour have said that the crowds are usually in a fever pitch by the time it starts and that the experience is a fun one.
